In these straitened economic times, it may be difficult to conceive of anyone paying approximately €195,160 for an automobile, but hats off to Mercedes-Benz all the same for having the design flair and marketing chutzpah to turn out a car as desirable as the SLS AMG Roadster.
Sibling to the company’s Gullwing Coupe, the SLS Roadster apparently offers multiple driving modes and race-track acceleration, combined with the obligatory safety and every-day practicality features. Yeah, like parallel parking and fitting in the groceries are top of a prospective purchaser’s list.
In the immortal words of Janis Joplin, “Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes-Benz?”
