Aston Martin centenary celebrations – an annotated graphic – #am100

One of the world’s most famous motoring marques is celebrating its centenary this year: Aston Martin. To mark the 100th anniversary, the company has released the V12 Vanquish S, the most powerful Aston Martin ever, capable of going from 0-60mph in 4.1 seconds.

On Sunday 21 July, thousands of owners and enthusiasts gathered in London’s Kensington Gardens to enjoy the largest gathering of British sports cars in history. On display were Aston Martins of every stripe and vintage, including – of course! – the DB5, arguably James Bond’s most iconic car of choice.

Aston Martin’s Facebook page has a gallery of images from the centenary celebrations, so if magnificent motoring machines are your thing, put the virtual pedal to the metal and race on over there.
