#WorldCup2014 – mind-controlled exoskeleton will kick off the tournament – an annotated infographic

And so it begins. With the Premier League decided, the FA Cup Final done and dusted and only the Championship Play-Off Final and the Champions’ League Final remaining of the 2013/14 season, we look beyond the concerns of mere domestic clubs to consider the national game in the home of the beautiful game. Yes, in case you hadn’t noticed, there’s a World Cup tournament coming up this summer and it will be held in Brazil.

As ceremonial openings go, it’s definitely a world away from Diana Ross missing an open goal. The mind-controlled leg will probably be more accurate.
