IET events this May – #engineering and technology dates for your diary

May

Education and professional development is a key theme across many of the IET events taking place this month in the UK and beyond.

Numerous courses and workshops are available throughout May, the majority of which are free of charge, giving you the chance to find out more about professional registration, improve your communication skills or perhaps getting the basics of project management under your belt.

There are also some interesting technical visits to venues including Siemens Congleton and Air Salvage International, as well as more local and regional heats of the IET’s Present around the World competition.

Finally, for apprentices and technicians looking for that something extra to help them stand out from the crowd; why not talk to your manager about being put forward for the IET’s Apprentice and Technician Awards. The deadline for entry 26 May, so there’s still time!
